Top customer reviewsBy Ian Haines on 26th November 2018 Put simply, these are gorgeous! Heavy, half-gloss wooden beauties. If you're practising with rattan escrima, then get ready for that weight increase (and thickness increase) that you get with these, and take your time over training. Those black painted grooves are a little rough on the skin of hands, so I'd suggest filing them a little softer before training, and then using a fine tipped felt marker pen to get rid of the paler colouring - yes, the colour is stained, not natural. I have 4 of these, and I'm pretty sure I'll be going for some more.
