Bought yesterday, came in the post today. The tsuba and rubber ring went on with a bit of \"persuasion\" and effort but i dont think they will come off in a while. The bokuto itself it a good weight, decent balance and as a side note, my bokuto/bokken came a bit darker than shown in the photo but i actually prefer in more brown than \"blonde\". Overall, very nice quality bokuto/bokken for the amazingly low price. If you wanted, you could find a better bokken but not for the same quality/price ratio. I would recommend to anyone.
Good Quality, Good Price, Have used one myself for years,
Just purchased a large quantity for my students.
An excellent training tool had mine for about 4 years now. Good quality wood (have only used red oak equipment from here but I would like to know what is the difference between the white and black oak bokkens?) Also love the name change from weapons to training aids.
Fantastic piece of kit, nice and sturdy, just what you need in an everyday training weapon!
I'm a beginner, i do find this bokken top heavy but it is well made and solid.
A traditional shaped weapon, made from good quality wood. The finish is oiled and polished (not varnish), and has a good feel. This bokken is slightly heavy compared to some that I have handled.
