Sport has always been an integral part of my life, especially martial arts. At a young age it gave me the opportunity to keep myself occupied and stay fit. It provided me with respect, confidence and the will to succeed. So much so, I still take time out to practice and teach the invaluable lessons I have learnt, to my students and to my children, who have also been brought up in the martial arts.
At Blitz we take a deep interest in the martial arts you practice. We understand that whatever martial arts you choose or have chosen it's as important to you as it was to me and continues to be.
This year has brought great new challenges. We have been developing new products and introducing additional products to existing ranges, which you will see on our shelves and web site later on in the year. We have also been improving and perfecting our internal procedures and working on our web site, featuring new user facilities and easier navigation options, which we hope you will enjoy and appreciate.
We understand that youth crime is a problem and the cause, in the majority of cases, is little or nothing else much to do. We have been working with various customers who have taken time out to teach martial arts on council estates, that have no sporting facilities or the facilities are far too expensive. The deserved chance to kids that really need it means that we can make a difference in the work we do.
We hope you agree with our principles and values. As the country's largest supplier of martial arts products, we hope others will understand and actively do something to help those who have never had an insight into the good martial arts can actually achieve.

About Us
The History of Blitz
Twenty years ago, we turned our already established passion for martial arts, into a full time obsession. Competing, training, instructing and coaching budding martial arts wern't enough. It was from this obsession, the concept of a store that could provide martial artists with everything they require, was born. Through the hard work and determination of its directors, who have a combined 95 years competing, instructing and coaching experience, Blitz grew from that tiny corner shop in Welling to where it stands today, the UK's largest supplier of martial arts equipment. We supply some of the top names in the industry, Olympic medallists, world champions, gyms, sports clubs, schools, armed forces, councils, instructors and many more. We would like to thank all our customers for their support and custom, many who still trade with Blitz and remember that tiny corner shop in Welling. We still teach, train and coach. We still live, breathe and love martial arts.
