I find them great for in club sparring semi contact or light continuous. Fingers and thumb enclosed for added protection and good for tournaments too. Being leather they wont split like some man made material but will mould to your hand shape. Padding is good too.

i found these fine in quality but very tight fitting for medium i have small hands but found very tight .i though it be a bit more roomee because i could n,t even take them off without help. other then great quality gloves and affordable price very tight even for small hands

A good quality comfortable glove I would thoroughly recommend, the only slight downside is that they are tricky getting on and off quickly due to the snug fit. I would definitely buy another pair.
