How hard?, 17/11/2010
By Helen (Wirral, UK)

These boards are great for small children and complete beginner adults. As the description says they give a sense of confidence because of the padding. However, I wouldn't recommend them for any adults above absolute beginner level as they break very easily and once an adult has developed a basic level of power, using it on thses boards breaks them completely by splittng the edges where they join. Don't be fooled into thinking black is for advanced students, its just for slightly bigger heavier beginners.
Great for the little ones, 8/6/2011

Our club has been using these for years with our kids and they love them. There is just enough padding to stop them hurting themselves but can break them easily enough at the right level. For adults we tend to use the blitz unpadded smash boards as they are harder to break.
