I use this head guard for sparring. It is very light yet well padded it perfect for semi contact sparring where you need agility and it doesn't hurt if you do get hit. I would definitely recommend it.

YAY! Better than aspirine, no more headache from sparring. The double padding makes it strong enought to take powerful hits and it's even usable for use against bokens, tonfas or Bo staffs. It's very light and comfortable. Has a very good price and good quality. The only thing I disliked, is that it doesn't protect your face (and I took a hell of a punch on the face last time I used it). For that, I'll cut one star on the rating. Besides that little flaw, I totally recommend this helmet..... except if you whant your face guarded as well.

Bought this for my 8 year for sparring and the fit is excellent. The extra padding across the forehead gives extra protection and the sides of the head-guard cover right down his jaw line. All in all a good head guard for the money and my son likes it as well. The service / delivery from Blitz was also very good.
